CONSULTANTS work as part of a project team helping our clients solve marketing problems from strategy to execution, driving high-quality, analysis-driven marketing deliverables.  They have strong analytic, synthesis and communication skills and must be comfortable operating in ambiguous situations with little direction. Consultants will likely work on multiple projects simultaneously.

As a Consultant, your primary responsibilities are:

  • Project Delivery:
    • Work with team leadership to define project scope and approach
    • Drive project execution, including analysis of complex data into meaningful insights, applying ER analytical frameworks, and developing and communicating recommendations to clients
    • Manage risk and ensure leadership is kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
    • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
    • Ensure your activities & deliverables align to expected timeframes & budget
  • Contribution to Team and ER
    • Support firm IP & capability development e.g., recruiting, training, and service offerings
    • Proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback; 
    • Foster an innovative and collaborative, team-oriented work environment
    • Recruit and develop the next generation of ER consultants & leaders

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: Track record showing leadership & performance

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university; advanced degree or MBA is a plus
  • 5-8 years of work experience in life sciences marketing strategy in a corporate or consulting capacity with a focus on digital marketing
  • Prior experience working with qualitative and quantitative research

Skills: Analytical, problem-solver with executive-facing communication skills

  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills and strong business acumen
  • Experience applying structured approaches to address business problems
  • Good communication skills: processing and sharing complex information clearly and simply
  • Excellent data analysis skills using Excel or statistics software to generate insights as the basis for strategic recommendations
  • Knowledgable Pharmaceutical digital marketing channels and KPIs

We are looking for a part-time (60-80%) HR Partner to report to and work with the People and Organizational Development Lead. To us, an HR Partner is the go-to person for all matters related to the employment cycle. As a small but growing firm we’ve never had a dedicated HR professional before. We have some pieces like recruitment, development plans and engagement surveys, but we don’t have an overall holistic plan. This means that your role will involve designing and implementing new approaches based on best practices, as well as managing ongoing activities such as recruiting, talent management, training & development, and performance management.

 

We recently completed a culture initiative to define our vision, mission, values, and behaviors.  Modeling and pulling-through our values in the HR arena is a vital aspect of the job in collaboration with our newly recruited People and Organizational Development Practice Lead.

 

As our HR Partner, your primary responsibilities are:  

Design, implement and monitor HR strategies, systems, tactics aligned with our overall mission and values
Support current and future business needs through workforce planning, succession planning, recruitment, on-boarding, diversity, learning and development, and releasing/retiring staff
Development of job descriptions, competency models, career paths
Ensure planning, monitoring, and appraisal of staff development results by training managers to coach staff; hear and resolve employee grievances; and counsel staff and managers
Nurture a collaborative and trusting working environment by supporting awareness and pull-through of the ER Culture Action Plan
Oversee compensation and benefits programs recommending revisions as required
Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource lifecycle
Enforce management guidelines by preparing, updating and recommending HR policies and procedures
Provide decision support through HR metrics to People and Organizational Lead

 

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS  

Experience: 

Bachelor’s degree in HR-related field; SHRM Membership; advanced degree or MBA is a plus 
8-10+ years of work experience as HR Lead or executive in a professional services sector  

 

Skills:  

Building and effectively managing relationships at all levels
Turning a group of talented individuals into a highly effective team
Coaching using differentiated leadership styles
Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
High degree of confidentiality
Attention to detail

 

Knowledge:

Best practice HR frameworks
Labor laws in NJ. NY, PA and CT
Distributed working environments and HR metrics

People oriented and driven to do the right thing
Engenders a high degree of trust
Willing to be heard and lead from experience
