WHAT YOU’LL DO

CONSULTANTS work as part of a project team helping our clients solve marketing problems from strategy to execution, driving high-quality, analysis-driven marketing deliverables.  They have strong analytic, synthesis and communication skills and must be comfortable operating in ambiguous situations with little direction. Consultants will likely work on multiple projects simultaneously.

As a Consultant, your primary responsibilities are:

  • Project Delivery:
    • Work with team leadership to define project scope and approach
    • Drive project execution, including analysis of complex data into meaningful insights, applying ER analytical frameworks, and developing and communicating recommendations to clients
    • Manage risk and ensure leadership is kept informed about progress and expected outcomes
    • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
    • Ensure your activities & deliverables align to expected timeframes & budget
  • Contribution to Team and ER
    • Support firm IP & capability development e.g., recruiting, training, and service offerings
    • Proactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedback; 
    • Foster an innovative and collaborative, team-oriented work environment
    • Recruit and develop the next generation of ER consultants & leaders

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: Track record showing leadership & performance

  • Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university; advanced degree or MBA is a plus
  • 5-8 years of work experience in life sciences marketing strategy in a corporate or consulting capacity with a focus on digital marketing
  • Prior experience working with qualitative and quantitative research

Skills: Analytical, problem-solver with executive-facing communication skills

  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills and strong business acumen
  • Experience applying structured approaches to address business problems
  • Good communication skills: processing and sharing complex information clearly and simply
  • Excellent data analysis skills using Excel or statistics software to generate insights as the basis for strategic recommendations
  • Knowledgable Pharmaceutical digital marketing channels and KPIs

ANALYST (Capability Practice)

Our services include digital innovation planning, research, content and creative strategy, analysis, and on-going management and optimization of digital initiatives. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

The Evolution Road Capabilities team is responsible for maintaining our market vision, thought leadership and development of consulting offerings that facilitate delivery of our strategic services to clients. 

The Analyst provides support of our knowledge library, conducts market research and handles project management responsibilities for internal projects associated with Intellectual Property development. 

Specifically, you will:

  • Help facilitate internal sharing across multiple teams
    • Coordinate speakers for bi-weekly meetings
    • Helping to identify additional sharing opportunities
    • Pro-actively reach out to teams to coordinate sharing of new materials
    • Administrative owner of internal sharing tool on a Shufflr platform including answering questions, posting documents, downloading documents, organizing files, handing issues with tech support, etc.
  • Identify unallocated resources within the practice to staff assignments
  • Project manage timelines and track progress for capability practice key initiatives
  • Ensure capability practice billable and non-billable commitments to clients or the consulting team are tracked and delivered on-time
  • Support project management of IP process
  • General capability administrative support including contacting partners or vendors, setting up meetings and presentations, coordination between internal groups, etc.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to explore learning opportunities across the business to ensure development and growth.  These could include activities such as: 

  • Inform Evolution Road market presence plan: social media, identifying editorial opportunities, conference support, etc.
  • Become proficient in HealthXL, eMarketer, and other research platforms
  • Handle vendor capabilities including the identification of new vendors that we should be aware of, fielding requests to do capabilities presentations and scheduling capabilities presentations with the team
  • Update tactical deep dives or points of view on specific innovation opportunities
  • Support client assignments such as developing landscapes or exploring innovation offerings

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS  
Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or advanced degree
  • 0-3 years of work experience in an agency or consultancy, preferably in healthcare  

Skills:  

  • Extremely strong organization and time-management skills; a proactive and diligent nature
  • Project management or project coordination experience a plus
  • Ability to manage several tasks at once
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fast learner with demonstrated success in fast-paced environment
  • Sound judgment and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work remotely and travel to in-person meetings as needed

Knowledge:

  • Intermediate PowerPoint, Word, Excel skills
  • Willing to be heard and lead from experience
