SENIOR CONSULTANTS work as part of a team helping our clients solve marketing problems from strategy to execution, driving high-quality, analysis-driven marketing deliverables. They are responsible for managing the client relationship and account management, ensuring that the internal Evolution Road teams exceed client expectations. They have strong analytic, synthesis, and communication skills and must be comfortable operating with direction in ambiguous situations. They work on multiple projects and clients simultaneously.

As a Senior Consultant, your primary responsibilities are:

  • Account Management:
    • Build strong relationships with clients as the primary day-to-day client contact; develop and/or identify extended strategic relationships that support client growth and account planning
    • Proactively engage with key client stakeholders to develop a thorough understanding of client business challenges and goals
    • Partner with key client agencies and vendors to develop well-informed recommendations with alignment from all
    • Develop and deliver against the project scope, making sure to align with client strategies and delivering business value
    • Manage key client internal business drivers including: financial operations and resource planning
    • Identify additional work amongst inline clients for Evolution Road to add value

  • Project Delivery:
    • Inform and collaborate on the development of digital strategy deliverables
    • Lead pull-through of brand digital strategy and day-to-day consultation with both internal and external stakeholders
    • Work with internal teams to develop a project charter that aligns the team on business need and outcome; this will include appropriate timeline creation and assignment of roles and responsibilities to ensure deliverables are delivered within timeline and within scope
    • Leverage appropriate Evolution Road thought leaders and resources to deliver services within scope and delivering high business impact
    • Manage project team tasks against budget and timeline while delivering high client satisfaction
    • Ensure strong collaboration and alignment between Consulting practice and the Center of Excellence/Commercial Innovation practice for highest quality deliverables
    • Contribute to and leverage IP; share work across teams and submit to IP repository

 

  • Contribution to Team and Evolution Road
    • Manage client risk and communicate proactively to Evolution Road leadership
    • Effectively train and develop other Evolution Road team members with varying levels of expertise
    • Manage all team members and stakeholders
    • Foster a collaborative, team-oriented environment with both internal and external teams
    • Contribute to new business pitch decks and corporate IP/assets
    • Collaborate with internal teams not only to deliver on client requests but explore all potential areas of impact

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Experience: Track record demonstrating leadership potential & performance

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 8-12 years of work experience in life sciences marketing strategy in a corporate, agency or consulting capacity with a focus on digital marketing including account/management/client service experience
  • Prior experience working with qualitative and quantitative research

Requirements:

  • Exceptional client management skills and experience
  • Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills and strong business acumen
  • Experience applying structured approaches to address business problems
  • Good communication skills: processing and sharing complex information clearly and simply
  • The ability to communicate well and ask questions to ensure there is a clear understanding of the request/need
  • Successful time management skills especially to manage deliverable due dates, team calendars and meeting requests
  • Solid ability to follow up and follow through to ensure that deadlines are met and client requests are fulfilled
  • Strong organization skills to manage multiple projects and clients at the same time
  • Excellent data analysis skills using Excel or statistics software to generate insights as the basis for strategic recommendations
  • Knowledgeable of Pharmaceutical digital marketing channels and KPIs
  • Strong PowerPoint skills
  • Personal alignment and passion for objective recommendations aligned with client interests and delivering impactful strategy & results
  • Portray a mature, values-driven collaborator and teammate
  • Clear, rational thinker who uses data & research to make informed judgments
  • Cooperative, collaborative approach with outstanding listening skills
  • Able to multi-task, work under pressure and deliver highest quality on tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated, highly detail-oriented, and extremely well organized
